Our Story

 

For us creating candles started with receiving a few candles for Christmas. The aromas were great, the vessels were beautiful, but the fumes and the soot were a problem of a great concern.

I am a breast cancer, survivor, I love burning candles before the cancer, but after the cancer I became more aware of what I bought into my environment, so I said to my husband lets create a candle that’s safe and clean. My husband being the engineer that he is and with some chemistry background began to study about the different types of waxes. He watched video after video. Once he discovered what he needed to know he had me watch those videos with him. We spent months, day after day and night after night watching videos and learning the process of candle making before we produced our first candle. When we felt we were ready we place an order for supplies. I was so excited and could not wait for the supplies to arrive. My husband said I was like a kid on Christmas morning. Our first candle was prefect the cold and hot throw was just what we needed, but still the candles wasn’t completely up to our satisfaction. We reached out to a couple of experienced candle makers whom we did not know. We got just enough information to know that we had to do more research. In doing so we were able to produce a candle we could be proud of.  Don’t get me wrong we are still learning, and making improvements.  We still have to watch videos to perfect our candle making skills. We daily give thanks to our heavenly father to where he has brought us to and where he is taking us. We are grateful for the path.  My dear husband has put his heart into this project and together we have become very passionate about the art of candle making. We are committed to producing a very high-quality candle and other very high-quality products.
